Rather than look at art as visual and aesthetic production, she takes it as a game of possibilities for the individual to improvise reactions to every situation. She always tries to rethink existing ideas, rules, forms and norms by way of slightly altered familiarities. Her work has been created and shown in China, Japan, the UK and Cuba. She is a member of the artist groups row&row; and Team Yameyo. She also writes and takes photos for magazines under other names to earn some coffee money.Recent solo exhibitions: Contemporary Art Institute/CAI02 (Sapporo 2019); Art Center Ongoing (Tokyo 2018). Recent group exhibitions: 13th Havana Biennial (2019), 12th Shanghai Biennale (2018). Her work has been collected by Power Station of Art (Shanghai, 2019). She was nominated for the Discovery Award, Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival 2019. Every summer since 2016, she takes part in Tsushima Art Fantasia which is a local community based art project in Tsushima Island located between Japan, Korean and China.
